Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and small bites on the lawn as well as a vintage-camper-turned-photo-booth (our friends at Picture Me Camping have the dand cutest setup). When guests arrived to the property, they were greeted by the sounds of acoustic bluegrass played by Thunder & Rain. Alli wore a knockout dress from one of our favorite dress designers, Rue De Seine. From the reddish, orange and pink hues worked delicately into the lush bouquets to the stunning floral arch- they worked their magic and made this vision a reality. We are no stranger when it comes to color and were thrilled when Alli told us she wanted ‘colorful sunsetty vibes’ for their wedding day. These loves were married on a beautiful summer day at Lone Hawk Farm tucked into the foothills of the Colorado mountains. We had such a blast planning alongside Alli + Wes. We’ll always hold a special place in our hearts for Nicole + Darren’s River Bend wedding day. They wanted each guest to sign and place a bookmark on the page of a country they have visited or wanted N+D to visit. In lieu of a traditional guestbook, N+D opted for a copy of Lonely Planet’s ‘The Travel Book’- with a special request from guests. Given that these two loves met in the Peace Corps, travel is a very important part of their relationship. A wood-fired oven cranked out pizza for dinner and their reception space, warm + inviting on a brisk Fall evening. A beautiful circular arch adorned with florals framed the ceremony site. Their wedding delivered the perfect balance of comfort and elegant with a playful spin on those traditional Fall vibes. Who meets in Mongolia?! Nicole + Darren do, that’s who. These two are as real, caring and loving as it gets. From our first interaction with Nicole + Darren, we were all in. We’re admittedly late to the game sharing this one with you- but the wait was worth it, promise.
